Admission And  Registration Requirements For Students

Turkish students are admitted to the program with the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council. International students are accepted through internationally recognized exams within the framework of the rules determined by the Higher Education Council. Exchange students are accepted to the program within the framework of bilateral agreements. International Relations Office conducts the admission of exchange students, and the Farabi Exchange Program Unit conducts national student admissions. The Student Affairs Office handles the admission of international students.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students studying at Çankırı Karatekin University may be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of a course taken at another institution is suitable for the content of the course given at Çankırı Karatekin University and is approved by the relevant faculty / institute directorate, the student may be exempted from this course.

Transfer to Higher Degree Programs

Graduates who have successfully completed the Social Work undergraduate program can apply for a master`s / doctorate education in related fields.

Master / Doctorate Opportunities

Social Work Master`s Program with Thesis was opened within the body of Çankırı Karatekin University Institute of Health Sciences with the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 18/11/2020.

Assessment and Evaluation

The terms specified in the Undergraduate Education Regulation of Çankırı Karatekin University will be valid.

Graduation Requirements

Students will be able to graduate if they have taken all of the compulsory courses and have at least a total of 240 ECTS together with elective courses and attained a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.

The Earned Degree

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a bachelor`s degree in Social Work.

Students who meet the success requirement and other necessary conditions can enroll in our department within the scope of a double major.
